What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a simple relationship between a farm and its community. We grow the garden for you so that you may have fresh, local, naturally grown vegetables on a regular basis. During the each growing/CSA quarterly season, the shareholder will receive boxes of fresh produce - one per week in the Spring and Summer seasons and a bimonthly delivery during the Fall and Winter seasons. The shareholder's contribution is to commit to take the boxes of produce and to pay prior to the beginning of the season. This fee supports the costs of growing over 50 different varieties of vegetables, fruits and herbs, which the farm then distributes back to the shareholders. It benefits the shareholders so they may enjoy garden fresh produce all season without the hassle of growing the garden.

What Will I Get?

During each quarterly growing season you will receive a box of fresh seasonal produce either weekly or bimonthly in accordance with the season you have signed up for. A regular box is designed for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.  Smaller boxes are available in the Spring and Summer seasons. We will decide what to put in the box, but it will be a good cross section of the produce that is available during the season.

What Kind of Vegetables Does The Farm Raise?

We offer a wide variety of different vegetables for the consumer.  We grow staple products that everyone enjoys such as heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and potatoes. We also offer more unusual produce such as kohlrabi, kale, and Italian beets just to name a few.
